Chrissy Gregory Joins the Ranks of UWRG Franchise Owners

United Water Restoration Group (UWRG) is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking development: Chrissy Gregory, our Vice President of Franchise Operations, has taken the bold step of investing in her own UWRG franchise territory. This strategic move will not only fulfill Gregory’s entrepreneurial aspirations but also provide a unique opportunity to refine and enhance our franchise operations from within.

A Journey Rooted in Service

Chrissy Gregory’s journey in the service industry began early. Growing up in a household where her father owned a plumbing business, Gregory was no stranger to hard work and the blue-collar lifestyle. “My father’s business put food on our table,” she recalls. “I was involved in the work from a young age, and that experience shaped my career path.”

Despite her initial dream of becoming the first female NFL commissioner, Gregory found her true calling in the service sector. Her career took off at Sears and later Roto-Rooter, where she gained invaluable experience in plumbing and restoration.

Embracing Leadership at UWRG

In May 2020, Gregory joined UWRG, excited about the prospect of working closely with franchise owners and developing comprehensive training processes. Her rapid progression from franchise business coach to director and ultimately to vice president is a testament to her dedication and expertise. “My current role involves planning the company’s future and strategizing how we can achieve our goals,” she explains.

A New Venture: Franchise Ownership

This year, Gregory’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to invest in her own UWRG franchise. “Owning my own business has always been a dream,” she says. “I was prepared for the possibility of the founders saying no, but instead, they supported my dual role as VP and franchise owner. I believed in my ability to manage both.”

This new venture allows Gregory to bridge the gap between corporate leadership and field operations. “Working closely with franchisees, I realized the importance of staying connected to the field,” she says. “Owning a franchise will give me firsthand experience of the day-to-day operations, ensuring that I remain grounded and informed.”

Enhancing Franchise Support

Gregory’s decision to become a franchisee underscores her commitment to the UWRG franchise model. “This has been a long-held dream of mine,” she says. “I wanted to prove to myself that I could succeed as both a leader and a business owner. This experience will provide valuable insights that will benefit our entire franchise network.”

At UWRG, we pride ourselves on offering detailed resources and support to our franchisees while allowing them the freedom to operate their businesses independently. “Our process provides an incredible amount of detail and resources without burdening owners with unnecessary red tape,” Gregory notes. “This flexibility is key to our franchisees’ success.”

Looking Ahead: The Future of UWRG

Gregory’s goal is to create stability for her family while contributing to the overall success of the UWRG franchise network. Her investment in a franchise territory serves as a powerful endorsement of our support system and partnership approach. “There’s no better stamp of approval than a VP investing in the franchise,” she says. “It’s not just about directives from the franchisor; it’s about true partnership.”
